Born and raised in New York, MK is a writer currently based in Los Angeles, California.

She writes historical fiction and adventure novels with a focus on tying the past to present. Reading and writing should always be a form of escapism, which is why MK so loves to return to the past, to paint a tapestry of rich history and places in time. Believing we can always learn from the past, she uses these historical fiction stories to also explore current issues and societal ills through the journeys of her characters and the worlds they occupy. 

Keeping her writing sharp, MK also keeps a blog where she explores her thoughts on writing, the creative process and popular culture. Beyond novels MK also writes novellas and short stories across genres.
