SYNOPSIS:
Inspired by a true story, The Larrabee Project is a comedy-drama adaptation of how a majority queer community in West Hollywood banded together to form a tenants association to fight a slumlord and the criminal entities associated with him.

In 2023, I was thrust into the position of tenant association president based on my apartment sustaining serious damage in the heavy rains. In addition to poor maintenance, the landlord also installed illegal short-term rentals at the same time. What followed was a community built on mutual trust and anger at their living conditions amid an apathetic city and the seemingly impossible task of securing basic rights and dignity.
Currently the pilot is available, with a series bible expected by August 2025.
